  • Affiliations: Mills College
  • Description: The Global Citizens Leadership Award recognizes a student who demonstrates social justice advocacy in service to international issues and global justice. The Student Leadership Awards are given to current Mills College students who have had an extraordinary and positive impact on the college community, including achievements within the college at large and the larger community. 
  • Relevant project: The Mohinga Project

πŸ† 3rd Place: Agora Enterprise Challenge @ Protothon (2021)

  • Affiliations: Agora, Dubstech, and University of Washington
  • Description: The Protothon is University of Washington’s only UX competition. Here, participants test their rapid prototyping and design thinking skills in two industry inspired, time-sensitive design challenges, and help design the future.

πŸ† Best Technical Project @ InternHacks (2020)

  • Affiliations: Netflix, Sapient, and URx
  • Description: InternHacks is a six-week fully virtual program that combines the best of a tech internship and a hackathon. The program is supporting over 200 students in tech during the summer of the COVID-19 pandemic. This was an award my team and I took home based on the decisions of judges and industry experts from Netflix and Sapient.

  • Affiliations: AnitaB.org and The Walt Disney Company
  • Description: The Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC) Scholars Program provides funds for women who are either undergraduate students, graduate students, or faculty to attend our Celebration. Women who get selected as scholars gain access to career and academic workshops, networking opportunities, and memories that will last a lifetime. For GHC 2020, I was sponsored by The Walt Disney Company.

UROP offers mini-grants to students to help fund their research. Mini-grants are small grants intended to reimburse undergraduate students for out-of-pocket expenses during the planning and execution of an independent research or creative project, or the presentation of such projects at conferences, exhibitions, or shows.

  • Affiliations: Trinity College and The University of Melbourne
  • Description: The Young Leaders Program (YLP) offered at Trinity College, the University of Melbourne, is an extracurricular academic program for high school students, aged 14 to 17. It is a residential program hosted by Trinity College, the University of Melbourne’s oldest residential college.
